Dr. Spruce has been practicing Urgent Care Medicine since 1993. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA and then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Pat completed his internship at the Area Health Education Center in Fayetteville, AR.

Immediately after completing his internship, Dr Spruce joined the US Navy and became a Naval Flight Surgeon. His first tour of duty was with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Cherry Point, NC and following the tour he was selected as the Flight Surgeon for the US Navy Flight Demonstration Team, the prestigious Blue Angels. Pat separated from the Navy after 6 years of service to pursue his career in Urgent Care Medicine. In 2010, Dr Spruce decided to re-enter the military and is currently a Flight Surgeon with the Colorado Air National Guard.

Dr. Spruce is originally from Camden, Arkansas. He met his wife of 28 years while studying medicine and she was in nursing school. She holds her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and is employed by the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses in Denver. They are parents to three beautiful young women. In his spare time, Dr Spruce enjoys any activity that allows him to be outdoors. Additionally, he has participated in several medical mission trips with the most memorable being medical relief in Indonesia following the devastating 2004 tsunami.
