Don’t Skip Your Annual Flu Shot
For many people, including young children, older adults, and anyone with an underlying health condition, the flu can lead to serious complications. An annual flu shot is the most effective way to reduce your risk and help protect the people around you who may be more vulnerable.

When to Get Vaccinated
Flu season in Colorado typically runs from October through March, with cases peaking between December and February. Getting vaccinated in early fall gives your body time to build immunity before activity picks up in your community, but getting vaccinated later in the season is still worthwhile. If you missed the early fall window, a flu shot in November, December, or even January still offers meaningful protection.
