Physicals in the Denver Metro Area

OnPoint Urgent Care completes school, sports, camp and executive physicals at six locations across the Denver metro area, seven days a week. Our physicians and physician assistants see patients of all ages, so you can get your exam and your paperwork done in one visit, with no appointment required.

Serving the Denver Metro Area:

When to Use Urgent Care

See your primary care provider when your schedule allows. They have your full medical history, so they can catch a new symptom or a change in your health that a single visit elsewhere might miss. That continuity is worth the extra step of scheduling ahead when you have the time.

Use OnPoint Urgent Care when your form is due sooner than your primary care provider can see you. Walk in at any of our six Denver metro locations, seven days a week, and leave with your exam completed and your paperwork signed the same visit.

What to Expect

Every physical starts with a review of your health history and the reason for your visit.

From there, your provider checks your height, weight, blood pressure and pulse, listens to your heart and lungs, checks your vision and hearing, and evaluates your joints, muscles and range of motion. Your provider completes and signs the paperwork on the spot.

  • Your physical form, if your school, league or employer gave you one, including a CHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form for Colorado high school athletes

Frequently Asked Questions

OnPoint Urgent Care offers physicals at all six of our Denver-area locations.
No. OnPoint physicals are walk-in only, seven days a week, at all six Denver metro locations.
Yes, though OnPoint recommends checking with your regular primary care provider first when your schedule allows. If you’re short on time, our providers can complete the exam and paperwork for you.

Physicals at OnPoint are a self-pay service. Many insurance plans only cover one preventive physical each year through your primary care provider, so using that visit for a school, sports, camp or executive physical can leave you without coverage when you see your primary care provider later. That’s one more reason to use your primary care provider first when your schedule allows.

Additionally, many of our contracts with insurances are for a “flat rate” fee meaning one price no matter what service is done.  This negates the preventative physical insurance benefit and the visit could apply against your deductible instead.

A photo ID, your physical form if you have one, a list of current medications and any corrective devices you use.

Yes. DOT physicals follow their own scheduling process. Visit OnPoint’s DOT physical page to learn more and schedule yours.
